Executive Chef for Multinational Restaurant in Eldoret


We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our multinational restaurant in Eldoret. As the head of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for creating and executing high-quality dishes that showcase our diverse menu. You will oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. You must have a passion for food and a creative mindset to develop new and exciting dishes for our menu.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that reflect our restaurant's concept
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients to ensure freshness and quality
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to maintain consistency and quality standards
- Develop new recipes and dishes that align with our restaurant's concept
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment at all times
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, pricing, and cost control measures

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment
- Excellent knowledge of international cuisines with a focus on Malayalee cuisine
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Creativity in developing unique dishes while also maintaining traditional flavors
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with management, staff, and suppliers
- Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Own visa or ability to obtain necessary work permits

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month depending on experience. We also offer benefits such as accommodation within close proximity to the restaurant.
