Database Administrator

As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's database systems. Your main duties will include installing and configuring database software, ensuring data security and integrity, troubleshooting issues, and performing regular backups. You will also be responsible for monitoring system performance and making necessary adjustments to improve efficiency.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of database management systems, such as MySQL or Oracle. You should also have experience with database design and implementation, as well as data backup and recovery procedures. A keen attention to detail is essential for this position, as well as the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

We are seeking a highly organized individual with excellent problem-solving skills. Candidates who are able to prioritize tasks effectively and communicate effectively will excel in this role. Additionally, candidates who have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field will be given preference.

This is a contract job based in Horsens. While prior experience is not required for this position, candidates with previous experience in database administration may be considered more favourably.
