Entry-Level Information Security Analyst

As an Entry-Level Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and protecting our company's computer systems and networks. This includes identifying potential vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and responding to security incidents. You will work closely with other members of the IT team to ensure that our data and systems are secure from cyber threats. This position is ideal for someone with a strong interest in information security and a desire to learn and grow in this field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular scans of our systems to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect against cyber attacks
- Monitor network traffic and system logs for suspicious activity
- Investigate security incidents and develop remediation plans
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging threats

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Knowledge of networking concepts, operating systems, and security tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns in data
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Good understanding of common cyber threats and mitigation strategies

Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Experience working in a cybersecurity role or on an IT team
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR or HIPAA

Salary: $1200 per month (Negotiable based on experience)
