Back-End Developer

We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team in Wiltz. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the server-side components of our web applications. This includes designing and implementing APIs, managing database systems, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our web applications.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain server-side components of web applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Write efficient, reusable and scalable code using the latest back-end technologies
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure high security standards are met for all data storage and transmission
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Stay updated with emerging trends in back-end development and implement best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python or Ruby on Rails
- Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Good understanding of web servers (Apache, Nginx) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with microservices architecture and API development
- Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
