Typesetting Assistant (Contract, Roskilde)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Typesetting Assistant to join our team in Roskilde. As a contract position, this role is perfect for students or those looking to gain experience in the typesetting profession. In this role, you will work closely with our typesetter to assist with formatting and layout tasks for various print and digital materials.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with typesetting tasks such as formatting text, adjusting spacing and margins, and inserting images
- Review and proofread materials for accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with the typesetter to ensure all deadlines are met and projects are completed according to specifications
- Communicate any issues or concerns with the typesetter in a timely manner

Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign or other typesetting software
- Basic understanding of typography principles
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary: $1300 per month (based on 20 hours per week)
Location: Roskilde, Denmark (preference for Danish or EU nationality)
Experience: No prior experience required, but some coursework or training in typesetting is preferred. This is an entry-level position suitable for students or those looking for their first job in the field.
