Crane Operator

As a Crane Operator in Odense, you will be responsible for operating cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads at construction sites, ports, and other industrial locations. Your main duties will include inspecting and maintaining the crane equipment, setting up and dismantling the crane, and following safety protocols to ensure the safe operation of the crane.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid crane operator certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating cranes
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and load charts
- Strong hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Physical strength and stamina to operate controls for long periods of time
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures for crane operation

Responsibilities:
- Inspect crane equipment before use to ensure it is in good working condition
- Set up the crane by assembling its parts and attaching necessary rigging equipment
- Operate the crane according to signals from ground crew or other designated personnel
- Lift, move, and position heavy loads using the crane's controls
- Monitor load weights and make adjustments as necessary to prevent overloading or tipping
- Maintain communication with ground crew during operations for safety purposes
- Dismantle the crane after use and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure safe operation of the crane at all times

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position that requires physical labor and working outdoors in various weather conditions. The role may also involve working at heights. You will be expected to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings when necessary.
