Industrial Architect - Contract Position (Almada, Portugal)


We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Industrial Architect to join our team on a contract basis in Almada, Portugal. As an Industrial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and planning the construction of industrial buildings and structures. This role requires strong technical skills, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals. We welcome candidates of all nationalities, but applicants with a biometric passport will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop plans for industrial buildings and structures that meet the needs of clients
- Conduct site visits and collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure feasibility of designs
- Utilize AutoCAD or other design software to create detailed drawings
- Develop cost estimates for materials and labor
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Manage project timelines and budgets effectively

Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or a related field
- Proven experience in industrial design projects (portfolio required)
- Proficient in AutoCAD or similar design software
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients, engineers, contractors, etc.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to think creatively
