Executive Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant (Greenland)


We are in search of an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a high-end fine dining restaurant in beautiful Greenland. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes using fresh and locally sourced ingredients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design seasonal menus that align with the restaurant's concept and standards
- Manage food inventory and ordering to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
- Oversee all food preparation and cooking, ensuring presentation and taste meet the restaurant's high standards
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, sanitation practices, and safety procedures
- Monitor kitchen operations to maintain efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Extensive knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with staff, management, and guests
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
- Knowledge of food cost control strategies to maintain profitability

Education:
Formal culinary training or degree in Culinary Arts is preferred but not required.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month plus potential bonuses based on performance.
