Radio Technician


We are seeking a skilled Radio Technician to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various radio equipment and systems. This includes troubleshooting technical issues, programming radios, and conducting regular maintenance checks.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various radio equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot technical issues with radios and other communication devices
- Program radios according to specific frequencies and protocols
- Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance work performed
- Stay updated on advancements in radio technology and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades
- Adhere to safety procedures while working with electronic equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in electronics or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of radio equipment and systems, including programming procedures and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with biometric passports preferred but not required
- Ability to work without accommodation (camping on-site) if necessary
- Valid driver's license required
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Alta, Norway. While nationality is not a strict requirement, preference will be given to candidates who are legally eligible to work in Norway without sponsorship.
