Junior Developer - Biometric Passport (Porto, Portugal)


We are hiring a Junior Developer to join our team in Porto, Portugal on a contract basis. As a Junior Developer, you will work on developing and maintaining our biometric passport software, ensuring its functionality and security.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features for the biometric passport software
- Write clean and efficient code that meets coding standards and is easily maintainable
- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure software quality
- Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise during development or testing
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical support
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in biometric technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience working as a Junior Developer or similar role
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python
- Familiarity with biometric technology and security protocols
- Understanding of agile methodologies and software development life cycle
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 900$ per month for this contract position.

Location:
This position is located in Porto, Portugal. However, remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.
