Entry-Level Baker

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our bakery team as an Entry-Level Baker. As a baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to our recipes and standards. This role does not require previous experience, but a passion for baking and willingness to learn is a must.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Knead, roll out, cut, shape, and proof dough
- Bake breads, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods
- Decorate and finish products with glazes, icings, toppings, etc.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Follow food safety guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary education is a plus
- Passion for baking and interest in learning new techniques
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Location: Our bakery is located in Almada, Portugal. While nationality or location of the employee is not strictly required, candidates who are already living in Almada or nearby areas will be given preference.

Salary: The starting salary for this position is 1100$ per month. We offer opportunities for growth within the company based on performance.
