Pastry Chef
We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Oslo. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastries, desserts, and breads for our restaurant. You will work closely with our head chef to develop new menu items, ensuring quality and consistency in all pastry items served.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a wide range of pastries, desserts, and breads according to recipes and standards
- Collaborate with the head chef to create new pastry menu items
- Ensure that all pastries are presented in an appealing manner
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker
- Knowledge of different baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique pastry recipes
- Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Excellent time management skills
Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Oslo, Norway (open to candidates of any nationality)
