Waiter - Indian Cuisine

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Waiter to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Waiter, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our guests. You will be serving Indian cuisine, so knowledge of Indian dishes and culture is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and timely manner
- Take orders and answer any menu-related questions
- Serve food and drinks to customers
- Ensure tables are cleared and clean for incoming customers
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Process payments accurately using POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders

Requirements:
- Must be of Indian nationality or have extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine and culture
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Previous experience as a waiter is preferred but not required
- Customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Basic math skills for processing payments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)

We provide visa sponsorship for non-Kenyan applicants. Accommodation can also be arranged if needed.
