Heavy Equipment Operator

We are in need of a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Greenland. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. Your primary duty will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of these machines on construction sites.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders according to project specifications
- Conduct pre-operation inspections on equipment to ensure safe and proper functioning
- Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed
- Follow all safety protocols at all times while operating equipment
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks effectively

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Own transportation is preferred

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per week.

Location:
This is a full-time position located in Greenland.
