Sous Chef
We are in search of an experienced and skilled Sous Chef to join our team at a fine dining restaurant in Vejle. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee the daily operations of the kitchen and ensure the highest quality of food is served to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and food preparation
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food presentation and hygiene
- Monitor inventory levels and order ingredients as needed to maintain efficiency
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all food safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Excellent time management skills, able to work efficiently under pressure
- Fluent in English (Danish proficiency preferred)
