Preservation Architect


We are seeking a Preservation Architect to join our team in Horsens, Denmark. This full-time position offers a salary of 1300$ with visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients, historians, and construction teams to ensure the preservation of the building's original design and materials.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in historic preservation, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. A degree in Architecture or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on historical buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and guidelines
- Work with clients to understand their vision for the building
- Collaborate with construction teams to oversee restoration projects
- Document all changes made during the restoration process
- Ensure that the building's original design and materials are preserved
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to clients
- Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in historic preservation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in historic preservation
- Strong knowledge of local regulations and guidelines for preserving historical buildings
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for design
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, historians, and construction teams
- Knowledge of relevant software programs such as AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.
