Junior Preservation Architect


Our architecture firm is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Preservation Architect to join our team in Horsens, Denmark. As a Junior Preservation Architect, you will assist in the preservation and restoration of historic buildings, ensuring that they are maintained in their original form while also meeting modern safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about preserving history and interested in gaining experience in the field of preservation architecture.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting research on historical buildings, including their architectural styles and materials used
- Assisting senior architects in developing preservation plans for historic structures
- Creating detailed drawings and plans for restoration projects
- Collaborating with engineers and contractors to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Conducting site visits to assess the condition of historical buildings and identify areas in need of restoration or repair
- Assisting in the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and timelines
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and concerns regarding preservation projects
- Staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in preservation architecture

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- 1+ years of experience working on preservation projects (internship experience will be considered)
- Strong knowledge of historical architectural styles, materials, and techniques
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
- Excellent research skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, contractors, and team members

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this position.

City:
This position is located at our office in Horsens, Denmark. Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate.
