Pastry Chef - Wiltz, Luxembourg
We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Wiltz, Luxembourg. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious pastries and desserts for our customers. Your main duties will include selecting high-quality ingredients, measuring and mixing ingredients, decorating pastries, and creating new recipes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of pastries and desserts according to recipes or customer requests
- Monitor production to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following food safety standards
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop new pastry recipes
- Train and supervise junior pastry cooks when necessary
- Order supplies and manage inventory to ensure availability of ingredients at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and pastry decoration methods
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Degree or certification in culinary arts is preferred
Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable depending on experience)
