Carpenter Foreman

The Carpenter Foreman will oversee and manage the construction and renovation of buildings, structures, and other wooden installations. They will be responsible for supervising a team of carpenters to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate carpentry projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Calculate material requirements and estimate costs
- Supervise a team of carpenters and delegate tasks
- Ensure all work is completed according to project plans and specifications
- Monitor progress and provide updates to project managers
- Inspect work for quality control and compliance with safety regulations
- Train new carpenters on techniques and procedures
- Maintain a safe working environment at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or carpenter foreman
- In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to calculate material requirements and estimate costs accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional certification or training in carpentry is preferred.

Salary:
1500$ per month with accommodation provided.

Location:
This position is located in Karachi. Applicants must have their own visa or eligibility to work in Pakistan.
