Contract Painter (Urgent)


We are in need of a skilled and experienced Contract Painter to join our team in Funchal on an urgent basis. As a Contract Painter, you will be responsible for painting and decorating various surfaces including walls, ceilings, doors, and furniture. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all surfaces are properly prepared and painted according to the client's specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Select and mix paints to achieve desired colors
- Apply paint or other materials using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas
- Clean up work area and store equipment properly after each job
- Communicate with clients to understand their painting needs and preferences
- Ensure timely completion of all projects within given deadlines

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a painter in both residential and commercial settings
- Knowledge of various painting techniques and tools
- Attention to detail with a strong eye for color and design
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and perform manual labor tasks
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
