Instrument Technician

We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Faro. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of complex instruments and equipment used for measurement and control in industrial or manufacturing settings. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided and visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair various instruments including pressure, temperature, flow, level, and analytical instruments
- Perform preventive maintenance on instruments to ensure optimal performance
- Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to identify and resolve instrument issues
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and instrument performance
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of different types of instruments and their operating principles
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be physically fit as the job may involve lifting heavy equipment
- Degree or diploma in Instrumentation or a related field is preferred
- Valid work permit for Faro
