Senior Database Administrator

As a Senior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability. You will work closely with the IT team to design, implement, and maintain database systems that support the organization's data needs. This position requires a deep understanding of database architecture, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the health, security, and integrity of all databases
- Design and implement database structures for new applications
- Troubleshoot database issues and perform root cause analysis
- Optimize database performance through index creation, query tuning, and server configuration
- Develop backup and recovery procedures to ensure data availability
- Collaborate with developers to design efficient data access methods
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in database management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Database Administrator
- Proficient in SQL language and experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle)
- Strong understanding of database architecture principles
- Experience with database security protocols
- Knowledge of disaster recovery procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong communication skills

Salary: 1500$ per month
