Job Title: Entry Level Database Administrator



As an Entry Level Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's database systems. Your main objective will be to ensure the security, availability, and performance of the databases while also assisting with data backup and recovery. This is a full-time position located in Faro, with a salary of $1400 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing access controls and backup procedures
- Create, update, and manage database documentation
- Collaborate with other IT team members to optimize database performance
- Assist with data migration between databases when necessary
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in database technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of SQL language and relational databases
- Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Experience with data backup, recovery, and maintenance procedures
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
