Pastry Chef

A luxury hotel in Mecca is seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts, as well as strong leadership skills to manage our pastry kitchen.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new dessert menus in line with the hotel's standards and customer preferences
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchen, including ordering supplies, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs, ensuring high quality standards are met
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of desserts for events and functions
- Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment at all times
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve menu offerings

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
- Creative portfolio showcasing a variety of desserts
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate junior staff
- In-depth knowledge of various dessert techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English is preferred, but not required

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this full-time position. Accommodation and transportation will also be provided.
