CNC Operator
We are searching for a skilled CNC Operator to join our team in Nairobi. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines, such as lathes and milling machines, to produce precision metal parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and adjust CNC machines according to specifications
- Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the production process
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings
- Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to ensure production goals are met
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience operating CNC machines is preferred but not required
- Good understanding of machining principles and techniques
- Ability to read technical blueprints and drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements
- Physically fit for standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
Salary:
Starting salary of 1600$ per month with opportunities for growth based on performance.
Location:
This position is open to Indian nationals currently residing in Nairobi.
Language:
Fluency in English is required for effective communication with the team.
Employment Type:
This is a full-time position with regular working hours from Monday to Friday.
Experience:
No prior experience is required as on-the-job training will be provided. However, candidates with previous experience in operating CNC machines will be given preference.
Other Requirements:
Candidates must possess a valid biometric passport or be willing to obtain one before starting work.
