We are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Los Angeles. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for safeguarding our company's computer networks and systems. Your main duties will include identifying and addressing potential security threats, implementing security measures, and conducting security audits.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor computer networks for security breaches and investigate any violations
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Stay updated on the latest security trends and developments
- Train employees on information security best practices
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner
- Manage network intrusion detection systems (NIDS)
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to enhance overall network security
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security analysis
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and operating systems
- Familiarity with various security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM are preferred
