Merchandiser

The Merchandiser will be responsible for overseeing the buying and selling of goods in our retail establishment. They will work closely with suppliers to negotiate prices and ensure timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate will have experience in merchandising, strong negotiation skills, and a keen eye for trends and consumer preferences.

Responsibilities:
- Researching consumer trends and preferences to inform purchasing decisions
- Negotiating prices and terms with suppliers
- Monitoring inventory levels and making recommendations for restocking
- Creating visually appealing displays to showcase products
- Ensuring timely delivery of products from suppliers
- Communicating with other departments to coordinate promotions and sales
- Analyzing sales data to identify areas for improvement
- Training and supervising junior merchandising staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 2+ years experience in retail merchandising or buying
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers
- Strong understanding of market trends and consumer preferences
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis purposes
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

This position is based in Lahore, Pakistan. Accommodation is not provided but we offer a competitive salary of $1700 USD per month.
