Freelance Game Developer


We are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Game Developer to join our team in Bergen. As a game developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality games for various platforms. This is a contract job with a salary of 1500$ per project.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the game design team to create engaging and innovative game concepts
- Develop and implement game mechanics, user interfaces, and gameplay systems
- Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug any technical issues that arise during the development process
- Optimize game performance for various platforms
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a game developer with at least 2 years of experience in developing games for mobile or console platforms
- Proficient in Unity or other game engines such as Unreal Engine or Cocos2d-x
- Strong programming skills in C# or C++
- Experience with 2D/3D graphics, animation, physics engines, and AI programming
- Knowledge of mobile platform limitations and optimization techniques
- Passion for gaming and understanding of player psychology
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development or related field
- Experience with multiplayer games development
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
