Database Administrator (Indian Nationals Only)


We are a growing company in search of a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance, integrity, and security of our company's databases. This is a contract position based in Shan, India with a salary of $1200 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain databases to ensure data availability and integrity
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Perform regular backups and ensure data recovery procedures are in place
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize database design and performance
- Develop database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions
- Maintain database security by controlling access permissions and privileges
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Experience with database design and development
- Familiarity with data backup and recovery processes
- Knowledge of database security principles and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in contract positions or in the IT industry in India or the surrounding region.
- Prior experience working with Indian companies or clients.
- Experience working with cloud-based databases.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
