Preservation Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Jerusalem. As a Preservation Architect, your main responsibility will be to assess, preserve, and restore historical buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients, historians, and other professionals to ensure that the preservation process follows all necessary guidelines and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures
- Developing preservation plans and proposals
- Collaborating with clients, historians, engineers, and other professionals to ensure accurate preservation methods are used
- Overseeing construction work to ensure it aligns with preservation plans
- Researching historical data to inform preservation decisions
- Maintaining detailed records of all preservation projects
- Staying updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in the field of historic preservation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in historic preservation
- Extensive knowledge of historic building codes, regulations, and best practices
- Strong understanding of architectural history and styles
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with various professionals and stakeholders
- Attention to detail for accurately assessing building conditions and developing preservation plans
This position is suitable for men. Fluency in English is not required but preferred. Salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
