Data Mining Analyst

As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to identify patterns and trends. You will use various tools and techniques to extract relevant information from large databases, creating reports and visualizations to communicate your findings. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize large volumes of data from multiple sources
- Use statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to analyze data sets
- Develop data models and predictive models to identify trends and patterns
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present insights and findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions
- Continuously monitor data quality, identifying any issues or inconsistencies
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data mining techniques
- Adhere to all privacy regulations when handling sensitive information

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
- Proven experience in data mining or similar role
- Proficient in database languages such as SQL
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R
- Experience with statistical analysis tools such as SAS or SPSS
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Location: Funchal (visa sponsorship available)
Salary: $1700/month (full-time)
