Chef de Cuisine


As a Chef de Cuisine at our restaurant in Horsens, you will be responsible for creating and executing our menu, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining high-quality standards. We are seeking a talented and experienced chef who is passionate about creating delicious dishes using fresh, local ingredients.

Responsibilities:
- Create and update menu items based on seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to high-quality standards and follow food safety guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to develop new promotions and events
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Manage food costing to ensure profitability while maintaining quality standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with other team members
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree is preferred

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this full-time position.
