Office Assistant
We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Assistant to join our team in Eldoret. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operation of the office. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent time management abilities, and a positive attitude. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1800 per month.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to emails
- Organize and maintain files and records
- Schedule appointments and meetings
- Prepare documents and reports as needed
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, billing, and data entry
- Coordinate travel arrangements for staff members
- Assist with HR tasks including onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- 1+ year of experience in an office environment preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of bookkeeping principles is a plus
