Junior Librarian


A junior librarian is responsible for assisting in the management and organization of library materials and resources. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate should have a passion for books and knowledge, as well as the ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the selection, acquisition, and cataloging of library materials
- Maintain accurate records of library inventory and circulation
- Assist patrons with locating materials and answering reference questions
- Promote library services to patrons through outreach programs
- Assist with planning and implementing library programs for all ages
- Help maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the library space
- Stay updated on new developments in library technology and trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Knowledge of library systems and procedures
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Passion for books, learning, and educating others

Salary: 1600$
City: Triesen
