Preservation Architect



We are searching for a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Faisalabad. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of historical architecture and the ability to balance preservation and modernization in their designs. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for conducting thorough site assessments, creating preservation plans, and overseeing the execution of restoration projects.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate the condition of historical buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans that balance the need for restoration with modernization and functionality
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure successful execution of preservation projects
- Research and stay updated on current preservation techniques and technologies
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for restoration projects
- Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to preservation standards and guidelines
- Meet with local officials and community stakeholders to gain necessary approvals for restoration projects
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects on preservation techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience in historic preservation architecture
- Knowledge of local laws, regulations, and standards related to historic preservation
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit or similar software programs
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Proven track record of successful completion of historic preservation projects

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Faisalabad. However, we are open to remote work options for highly qualified candidates.

Accommodation:
This position does not include accommodation. Candidates must arrange their own housing if not located in Faisalabad.

Student Opportunities:
While this position is open to students, we are looking for candidates who have at least 5 years of experience in historic preservation architecture. Students with relevant coursework or internships may be considered.
