Facade Engineer



As a Facade Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and constructing building facades to meet aesthetic and functional requirements. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and clients to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and experience in facade design.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze building facades using advanced software tools
- Collaborate with architects to ensure facade design meets aesthetic requirements
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide cost-effective solutions for facade construction
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and reports
- Oversee the fabrication and installation of facades on site
- Conduct site visits to ensure construction is carried out according to design specifications
- Provide technical guidance to project team members
- Review project progress and identify potential issues or delays
- Keep up-to-date with emerging facade technologies and materials

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facade design or related field
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and building codes
- Proficient in using CAD software for technical drawings
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills

Preferred:
- Experience working on high-rise buildings or complex structures
- Knowledge of sustainable facade design principles
This position is open only to Kenyan nationals. Salary is $1300 per month with accommodation provided. Candidates must have their own valid visa for Shan city. This is a full-time position requiring candidates to work 40 hours per week.
