IT Manager


We are in search of an experienced IT Manager to join our team in the beautiful city of Faroe-Islands. As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the information technology needs and systems of our company. Your role will involve managing a team of IT professionals and ensuring the smooth operation and security of all IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in system administration, network management, and project management.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement strategies for the efficient operation and maintenance of all IT systems
- Oversee system upgrades and installations to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency
- Monitor network performance and security to protect against potential threats or breaches
- Develop disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of emergencies or system failures
- Budget management for all IT-related expenses, including hardware, software, and equipment purchases
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and provide solutions that align with business goals
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in technology to make recommendations for improvements or updates to current systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role with proven leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, server infrastructure, cloud computing, and virtualization technologies
- Experience with project management methodologies
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Salary: $1000 per month
