We are hiring an Online Chat Moderator to join our team in Akron! As a moderator, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing online chat rooms and discussions, ensuring that they are safe and appropriate for all users. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and moderate online chat rooms and discussions
- Enforce community guidelines and remove any inappropriate content or users
- Engage with users in a professional and friendly manner
- Provide support to users who may have technical or general questions
- Collaborate with other moderators to ensure a smooth user experience
- Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate team members
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in online moderation

Requirements:
- Native English speaker with excellent communication skills (Indian nationality preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in online moderation or customer service role
- Strong understanding of internet safety, social media platforms, and community guidelines
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple conversations at once
- Proficient typing skills (minimum 60 words per minute)
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this part-time position.
