Data Mining Specialist


We are hiring a skilled Data Mining Specialist to join our team in Roskilde. As a Data Mining Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to identify patterns and trends, and providing insights to support business decision-making. You will work closely with our data science team to develop and implement data mining algorithms and techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics, machine learning, and programming languages such as Python or R. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct data mining activities to discover patterns and insights from large datasets
- Collaborate with data science team to develop and implement data mining algorithms
- Cleanse and preprocess data for analysis
- Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings
- Identify areas for improvement in existing data mining processes
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in data mining or related field
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python or R
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Skills:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop)
- Knowledge of SQL databases and querying languages
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
