Auto Body Repair Technician
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team in Atlanta. As an Auto Body Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition. Your main duties will include removing dents, replacing damaged parts, and painting the repaired areas.
To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience in auto body repair and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment. You should also have strong attention to detail and be able to follow safety procedures at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicles and determine the best method of repair
- Remove damaged parts, such as bumpers, fenders, or doors
- Straighten bent frames using specialized equipment
- Fill holes and dents with putty or other materials
- Sand and buff repaired areas to smooth out imperfections
- Prime and paint repaired areas to match the rest of the vehicle
- Reassemble vehicle parts and test for proper functioning
- Document all repairs performed on the vehicle
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in auto body repair preferred
- Ability to use various hand and power tools safely
- Knowledge of auto body repair techniques and methods
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per week.
