Junior Software Developer



As a Junior Software Developer, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of software applications. Your primary role will be to support the senior developers in designing, coding, and testing various software programs. You will also participate in troubleshooting and debugging issues, as well as implementing new features and updates. This is an entry-level position suitable for Nepali English-speaking individuals with or without experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers to design and develop software applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Conduct unit testing and debugging to identify and resolve software defects
- Assist in the implementation of new features and updates
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
- Support end-users by troubleshooting technical issues and providing resolutions
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g. MySQL) and web development frameworks (e.g. Angular)
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in English language
- Willingness to relocate to Akron for this full-time position
