Restaurant Manager
Location: Esbjerg, Denmark
Salary: $1300 per month
As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant in Esbjerg. Your primary duties will include managing staff, ensuring quality service and food, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. You will also be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, and manage staff members to ensure excellent service and efficient operations
- Create schedules for employees that effectively balance the needs of the business with their personal availability
- Monitor food quality and ensure that all dishes are prepared according to company standards
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and maintain cost control measures
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are being met at all times
- Monitor financial performance by analyzing sales data, controlling costs, and making adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with other managers to develop new ideas for promotions or menu items
Requirements:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English (Danish proficiency is a plus)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Proven track record of improving sales and profitability
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
