Land Surveyor
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys and creating accurate maps and reports for various projects. Your primary goal will be to provide precise measurements and data to support the planning, design, and construction of buildings, roads, and other structures. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong mathematical skills, and the ability to use surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and lasers.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using various methods including GPS technology
- Analyze survey data to create accurate maps and reports
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to support project planning and design
- Ensure accuracy of measurements through proper calibration of equipment
- Keep detailed records of survey data for future reference
- Maintain knowledge of local laws and regulations related to land surveying
- Communicate with clients to understand project goals and requirements
- Implement safety measures while conducting surveys on job sites
- Train and supervise junior surveyors as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Land Surveyor
- Proficient in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and lasers
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform calculations accurately
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to land surveying
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with others
Salary: $1200 per month without accommodation
Visa sponsorship available for non-local candidates.
