Executive Chef
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management. You will also be responsible for managing and training kitchen staff, ensuring high quality and consistent meal production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and extensive experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Fluency in English is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus that meet the needs of customers while optimizing food costs
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including portion control, presentation, and quality
- Manage inventory levels to ensure timely ordering and stocking of necessary ingredients
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food handling and preparation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or catering services
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement new techniques or recipes as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of culinary arts with a strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, etc.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English (preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or relevant field is preferred
Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (open to foreigners)
