Radio Technician


A reputable radio station in Los Angeles is seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all radio equipment to ensure smooth broadcasting operations. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all radio equipment, including transmitters, receivers, antennas, and other related components
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during broadcast
- Ensure proper installation and calibration of new equipment
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance performed and repairs made
- Stay updated on new technologies and advancements in the field of radio broadcasting
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate equipment usage and scheduling for events or shows
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with various types of radio equipment and their functions
- Ability to work under pressure during live broadcasts or urgent technical issues
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment

Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following:
- Nationality from Pakistan or the Philippines (but not limited to)
- Prior experience working in a radio station setting
- Basic knowledge of Hindi or Tagalog (but not mandatory)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed
