Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate lathes and turning machines according to blueprints or work orders
- Monitor machine performance, make adjustments as needed, and ensure efficient production
- Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and other tools
- Identify potential issues or defects in materials or equipment and take corrective actions
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following all safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and meet deadlines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Turner or similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints and work orders
- Strong knowledge of metalworking processes including cutting, drilling, grinding, etc.
- Experience operating various types of lathes such as CNC lathes, vertical lathes, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and dexterity
