Job Title: Executive Chef
We are hiring an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Triesen, Liechtenstein. As the head of the kitchen, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and presentation within our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating delicious and innovative dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new menu items and regularly update existing menus
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques
- Manage inventory and ordering of all food supplies
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Work closely with management to develop cost-effective menus without compromising on quality
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and incorporate them into menu planning
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of food cost control and inventory management
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, and vendors
