Tiling Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tiling Technician to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Tiling Technician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing tiles in various structures such as homes, offices, and commercial buildings. You will work with a variety of materials including ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone to create aesthetically pleasing and durable tile surfaces.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled and plan the layout accordingly
- Cut tiles to fit around obstacles and into corners using hand and power tools
- Mix and apply mortar or adhesive to secure tiles onto surfaces
- Align tiles properly to create straight lines and ensure uniform spacing
- Create decorative patterns using different colored tiles
- Install grout between tiles and remove excess for a smooth finish
- Repair or replace damaged or cracked tiles as needed
- Clean and polish tiled surfaces to maintain their appearance
- Communicate with clients to understand their tiling needs and preferences

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tiler or similar role in the construction industry
- Excellent knowledge of different tiling materials, tools, techniques, and safety measures
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, or specifications to determine tiling requirements
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and installing tiles
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy materials, and working in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and collaborating with other workers on construction sites

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certification in tiling or related field is preferred.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this full-time position.
