Cashier - Contract Position in Balzers, Liechtenstein


We are currently hiring a Cashier for a contract position in Balzers, Liechtenstein. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are fluent in English and have experience working in a fast-paced retail environment.

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. Your main duties will include scanning items, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.

The ideal candidate should have prior cashier or retail experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Attention to detail and basic math skills are also essential for this role.

This is a contract position without accommodation provided. However, we do offer visa sponsorship for eligible candidates. This role is open to all nationalities, but preference will be given to Malayalees and Nepali speakers.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and provide assistance as needed
- Scan items accurately and process payments through various methods (cash, credit/debit cards)
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions and discounts to inform customers
- Handle returns or exchanges according to company policies
- Keep checkout area clean and organized at all times
- Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
- Follow cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy in transactions
- Provide excellent customer service by resolving any issues or concerns quickly

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cashier or retail experience preferred
- Fluent in English with good communication skills
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
