English Speaking Librarian

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic English Speaking Librarian to join our team in Atlanta. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library's collection, assisting patrons with research and reference questions, and promoting literacy and reading programs.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize the library's collection of books, periodicals, audiovisual materials, and other resources.
- Assist patrons with research and reference questions, helping them locate relevant information.
- Promote literacy and reading programs by creating displays, organizing events, and collaborating with local schools and community organizations.
- Develop and maintain cataloging systems to ensure accurate record keeping of materials.
- Train library staff on how to use the cataloging system effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting patrons, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Create engaging displays to showcase new materials or promote a specific topic or theme.
- Monitor usage of library resources to inform future purchasing decisions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments in the field of librarianship.
- Collaborate with other librarians to plan programs and events for all ages.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
- Previous experience working as a librarian or in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- In-depth knowledge of library systems, cataloging techniques, research methods, and reference sources.

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
